Description
Our Analyzing Multiple Accounts of a Topic lesson plan teaches students how and why different types of accounts are used. During this lesson, students are asked to work collaboratively with a group to choose a topic and then write a paragraph from each type of account (firsthand, secondhand, and other). Students are also asked to read given paragraphs written as different types of accounts and answer questions about them, demonstrating their understanding of the lesson material and what different types of accounts are used for.
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to analyze multiple accounts of the same event or topic, noting important similarities and differences in the point of view they represent.
