In our Magnets lesson plan, students learn about magnets, including how they work and what they can be used for. Students also learn how to identify the poles of a magnet.

Description

Our Magnets Lesson Plan demonstrates the concept of magnets. During this lesson, students are asked to identify repelling and attracting pairs of magnets and circle objects that would be attracted to magnets in order to demonstrate their understanding of the lesson material. Students are also asked to answer comprehension questions in order to test their retention of the lesson.

At the end of the lesson, students will be able to define the term magnet, identify the poles of a magnet, and how the poles react to each other, and to other materials.

Magnets

I didn't use the material as it did not fit my needs, but it was a good intro lesson about magnets.
