In our The Human Skeleton lesson plan, students learn about the human skeleton, including how it’s connected, its different parts, and the names of some key bones. Students practice labeling a diagram of a skeleton.

Description

Our The Human Skeleton lesson plan strengthens students’ understanding of bones and how they’re connected. During this lesson, students are asked to engage in peer learning and teamwork as they pair up to complete an activity in which they assemble a paper skeleton. Students are also asked to label a diagram of the human skeleton correctly in order to demonstrate their understanding of the lesson material.

At the end of the lesson, students will be able to identify the human skeleton and name key bones of the body. The students will also be able to correctly piece together the bones of the body.

human skeleton 5th grade

It was a great way to learn about bones. My fifth grader loved the activity of putting the skeleton together. You can even make flashcards to to stick on the skeleton.

The Human Skeleton

Awesome. I felt the information was great and at grade level. My kids loved cutting the skeleton out and gluing it together. I also am going to have them label the bones.
