Our World War II lesson plan introduces the causes of World War II, the Allied and Axis Powers, several World War II leaders and battles, and explain several facts about the war. During this lesson, students are asked to work in pairs to conduct research and engage critical thinking skills as they define and explain the significance of select terms relating to World War II. Students are also asked to complete a crossword puzzle using lesson vocabulary.
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to identify the causes of World War II, countries involved, and research people, places, and events related to the war.
